With over 15 years in the industry behind him, Harry Grinling founded Support Partners in Spain in 2003 to be the behind-the-scenes solutions provider for a major motion picture. Later that year the UK operation was opened and in January 2007 the Sydney office was set up. The Company now has 23 staff in three countries and is still expanding. The early yearsHarry Grinling realised there was an emerging gulf between falling production costs and the higher expectations of delivery and transmission. The proliferation of myriad flavours of media - particularly within the arena of high definition - has brought with it a minefield of choices. Costs have fallen considerably but the demands for broadcast and transmission are even more stringent.
The Company’s first major client was Warner Bros(Tim Burton’s acclaimed “Corpse Bride”) with a 7/24 support contract. Support Partners went on to providecustomised digital production servicestoBBC Factual and Learning, BBC Natural History Unit, Darlow Smithson, McCann Erickson, The Edge, Red Earth, Mark Stewart Productions, Impossible Films, Walt Disney International Television, Rove and ABC Australia, amongst others.Our motivation
